I-Day Special Greetings From The Rector Of Mari State University

On 15th August , Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail, Rector, Mari State University (MarSU) put forward his address to all the Indian citizens and wished them happy Independence Day. He further highlighted the importance of the Indian freedom movement and its global effects. He also congratulated the country for its achievements and how far it has come as a dynamic state with a powerful economy, significant industrial and innovative potential, a rich culture and  one of the world’s greatest powers.

Prof. Shvetsov Mikhail, Rector, Mari State University, in his address to Indian students on the occasion of Independence Day stated:

“On this day, we send our warm and sincere congratulations to the entire Indian people on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence!

The significance of India’s national liberation movement is truly global, marking the end of Western colonial rule in Asia and Africa. In the years of independence, India has come a long and impressive way. Today it is one of the world’s greatest powers, a dynamic state with a powerful economy, significant industrial and innovative potential, and a rich culture.

We cordially congratulate you on this great holiday that unites the people of India, we wish you good health, family well-being and happiness! We are glad to share this day with you, our dear students!”

With 1100+ Indian students currently pursuing their dream of becoming a doctor at MarSU, the university aims to make quality medical education more accessible to the aspiring students of India. In order to serve the same objective, the university has collaborated with Rus Education, India’s most trusted partner for the students seeking to study MBBS at the top government medical universities of Russia. The association also further deepens the relation between India and Russia to promote quality learning experience and make it more accessible for all.
