ABOUT UNIVERSITY
Medical College for Women and Hospital is one of the Best Medical Colleges exclusively for women providing MBBS in Bangladesh. The college was established in the year 1992 with an aim to offer quality medical education to all local and international students of Bangladesh at an affordable cost. Dhaka University has affiliated Medical College for Women and Hospital as a constituent college.
The college has 20 departments with 121 highly qualified and experienced faculty members. Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and the Medical Board of California have recognized the college. The degree awarded by Medical College for Women and Hospital is approved and recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and is enlisted with WDOMS (World Directory of Medical Schools).
A 500 bedded hospital is affiliated with the college, and both the hospital and the college is under the governance of a non-political and non-profitable organization - “The Medical & Health Welfare Trust”.

The college offers safe and comfortable accommodation for all international students. The rooms are offered on a twin sharing basis. All hostel rooms are fully furnished with a central cooling and heating system. The hostel also offers laundry facilities.
