With almost 50 days for preparation, one might wonder how to utilize this period to gain the best outputs from their performance.

Here are a few tips that can actually help you in your NEET Preps at the final stage:

1. Understand Exam Syllabus & Pattern

When preparing for the NEET UG exam, the students must have an insightful understanding of the exam syllabus and pattern. The students may refer to their teachers and mentors to discuss however they are advised to go through the NEET Information Bulletin provided by the NTA on its website.

2. Create An Objective Approach For Studying

If you have been studying with the subjective approach, you are required to shift your style towards an objective approach. One such suggestion that can help, is to jot down points instead of the theoretical paragraphs, create mind-maps and flow charts etc.

3. Follow Your Time Table Diligently

Create a realistic timetable which should be flexible as per your needs. Set your priorities straight. Try to follow the timetable thoroughly till the last day before the exam. Do not rush your study hours during the last days. Follow the same routine you had followed a month before. Remember to focus more on the quality of study rather than its hours.

4. Divide Your Time

Devote the required time to cover the maximum topics in the limited time. You might be required to devote some extra hours to a subject you are lagging behind and fewer hours for your strong points. But, remember not to get overconfident with your strong points and keep revising them thoroughly.

5. Kit-Kat Breaks

Take short breaks and time out to refresh your brain. With hours of sitting, remember to do some stretching and physical exercise to keep your brains and body healthy. Always remember, a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. You can also use this time for some of the recreational activities, follow your hobbies or talk with your friends. The object is to maintain a healthy study-life balance and relieving stress.

6. Emphasize On Revisions

The trick to remember all the details you have learned is to have frequent revisions. Once you have fully prepared your notes and done with your study, go through your own handwritten notes at least twice a week so that you do not forget the years, names and formulas during the exam.

7. Hard and Smart Work

“Without labour, nothing prospers.”~ Sophocles, philosopher

Work hard and smart to get the precision you need to excel. Use the resource available at your hands to the best of their potential. Update your study plan which suits you and your learning style the best. Something that has worked for someone might not work for you, so you would have to create your own ways.
