As we step into another year with the new and revised aspiration of success and opportunities, it becomes important to look back at how far we have reached to determine how far we can reach.

The past year has been a witness of dreams and wishes getting fulfilled for thousands of aspiring medical students in India.

For us at Rus Education, the year 2022 was a year of introspection and reflection which helped us in reaching thousands of aspiring Indian medical students and helping them in finding their dreams with the opportunities of medical studies abroad. 

In this past year, the team conducted 300+ successful MBBS Admission Guidance Seminars across the country which allowed us to reach hundreds and thousands of students. Similarly, approximately 1500+ students reached us at the 25+ MBBS Admission Expo.

Moreover, the team of Rus Education in collaboration with the Russian House in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Trivandrum, successfully organized the 23rd Russian Education Fair. It was the first time since the Covid outbreak, the fair was held in person. Several top universities of Russia joined the fair intending to meet and provide the right guidance to aspiring Indian students. For the very first time, the fair was organized in Patna, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

The fair beheld the marvel presence of Mr Ktitorov Mikhail, Counsellor, Head of Department of Culture & Education, Embassy of Russian Federation in India; Mr Oleg Osipov, Director, Russian House in New Delhi; Mr Alexy Idamkin, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Kolkata; Mr Aleksei V. Surovtsev, Consul General of the Russian Federation to Mumbai; and Mr Ratheesh C. Nair, Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation and Director of the Russian House in Thiruvananthapuram. 

The fair also featured Mr Shvestov Mikhail N, Rector, Mari State University and Associate Prof. Mironchev Anton, Dean for International Students, Orenburg State Medical University.

Furthermore, the two universities signed the Agreement of Cooperation with the Russian House in New Delhi & Rus Education to broaden the scope, opportunities and ease for Indian medical students.

Another important event for Rus Education was the grand 17th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2022, “Global Destination for Higher Education: Advantage INDIA” The Exhibit brought together key stakeholders of higher education and its practices from various parts of the world. More than 1200 national and foreign delegates from 60 countries and 150 exhibitors participated in the event.

The event featured key presences of several representatives from top Russian Universities joining in to explore the opportunities for collaboration and associations.

With all these events, the team of Rus Education successfully guided 10,000+ students towards their next destination in Russia. 

The team also held the traditional pre-departure ceremony, Sobraniye, in collaboration with the Russian House in New Delhi. The event observed several key dignitaries joining to bless, motivate and guide the students for their upcoming journey in Russia. This included Lt Gen Daljit Singh, VSM, Director General Medical Services (Indian Army) & Sr Col Commandant; Shri Nirmal Kumar Bhagat, Director, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare; Dr Vinitaa Jha Executive Vice President, Medical Education & Research; Dr Vanita Mittal, General Manager, Academics from Max Healthcare and others. The team chaperoned them and arranged for their departure from India as well as their arrival in Russia.

The past year was certainly a difficult one for all medical students studying in Ukraine. As thousands of fear-stricken Ukraine returned students to India, Rus Education took on the special initiative to guide them and help them in continuing their journey to become a doctor in Russia.

With this initiative, approximately 1,000+ Ukraine-returned Indian medical students resumed their medical studies at Russian medical Universities such as Perm State Medical University & Mari State University.

Another key initiative of Rus Education was the humble Cloth Donation Drive for the underprivileged people of the national capital who are left stranded to face the harsh slams of chilly winter nights.

Given its continuous and ardent efforts in strengthening the health infrastructure of the country, Rus Education won the “Best Overseas Medical Education Provider” award at the Atal Achievement Awards 2022.

For 2023, the team has already chalked out the outline for success and metrics of achievements. For this year, the team is not only bringing the best opportunities in Russia for Indian students but also from other parts of the world for medical education and research. 

The team eyes a nation, where every qualified, potential and passionate aspirant has the opportunity to confirm their dream of becoming a doctor a reality and letting society’s health be catered to in the best hands. 

This year, we call forward all the aspiring medical students as well as passionate dreamers and dedicated professionals of all fields to help us in fulfilling this dream and be a part of Rus Education to create a healthier future and an Ayushman Bharat!
