New Delhi, 18 July 2026: The 2nd Edition of the 27th Russian Education Fair 2026, organised by Rus Education in collaboration with the Russian Centre, concluded successfully at the Russian House, New Delhi, bringing together 500+ MBBS aspirants and their parents for a day of insightful interactions, expert guidance, and on-the-spot admissions.
The event featured participation from 25+ leading Russian Government Medical Universities, represented by distinguished academic leaders, including Dr. Trifonova Elena Valentinovna – Deputy Director, Institute of Medicine and Experimental Biology, Pskov State University – Dr. Zaburdaeva Tatiana Ivanovna, Deputy Director, Medical Institute, Mari State University, along with official rectors, vice rectors, deputy deans, and international office representatives, providing students with direct access to authentic information about studying MBBS in Russia.
Students and parents had the unique opportunity to interact one-on-one with university representatives, understand admission procedures, explore university facilities, discuss career prospects, and receive personalised guidance before making one of the most important decisions of their academic journey.
The fair also witnessed on-the-spot admissions, with a significant number of students securing seats at some of Russia’s top medical universities after completing counselling and document verification during the event.
One of the key highlights of the fair was the interaction with senior university delegates, who shared valuable insights on medical education in Russia.
Trifonova Elena Valentinovna, Deputy Director, Institute of Medicine and Experimental Biology, Pskov State University, emphasised the importance of direct interaction between universities and students, stating that platforms like the Russian Education Fair help students make informed decisions by understanding universities firsthand.
Zaburdaeva Tatiana Ivanovna, Deputy Director, Medical Institute, Mari State University, appreciated the initiative, highlighting that meeting students and parents personally creates trust, answers genuine concerns, and helps students confidently choose the right university for their medical education.
Representatives from several other universities also shared their commitment to providing quality education, modern clinical training, and comprehensive support to international students, reaffirming Russia’s position as one of the preferred destinations for pursuing MBBS.
