New Delhi, India – September 25, 2024 – Rus Education, in collaboration with the Russian House in New Delhi, proudly hosted the inaugural direct interaction event for parents featuring Dr. Mironchev Anton, the esteemed Dean of Orenburg State Medical University on 25th September 2024 in Russian House in New Delhi.

The event was honored by the presence of several distinguished individuals, including Dr. Mironchev Anton, Dean of Orenburg State Medical University; Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor (Retd.), Technical Advisor at Rus Education; and Dinesh Singla, an alumnus of Orenburg State Medical University, who has completed a three-year Ph.D. program at the institution.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Dinesh Singla. 

 “I’m delighted to announce that our first batch of Indian students has arrived in Moscow successfully,” he further informed. “It’s both an honor for us and a privilege for the parents to have Dr. Mironchev Anton, the Dean of Orenburg State Medical University, with us today.” he expressed. 

Following this, Dr. Mironchev Anton delivered an articulate speech highlighting the distinguishing factors that make Orenburg State Medical University a premier choice for Indian students pursuing their MBBS in Russia. He noted, “To date, over 2,500 Indian students have successfully completed their medical studies at Orenburg State Medical University. I am particularly proud to share that 500 of these students have already received their diplomas.” 

Moreover,  Dr. Anton further added “Upon the arrival of students, a formal meeting is organized that includes the Dean, staff from the Dean’s office, employees of the Russian language department, dormitory specialist, and first-year students. During this gathering, comprehensive information is provided regarding various aspects of university life, including institutional policies, academic guidelines, and accommodation arrangements.”

Additionally, the Dean provided a detailed overview of Orenburg State Medical University, highlighting its esteemed faculty and rigorous curriculum. He emphasized the faculty’s qualifications and commitment to student success, as well as the practical training opportunities embedded in the curriculum. The Dean also described the hostel facilities, outlining the amenities available to students, such as study areas and recreational spaces. This presentation effectively addressed the concerns of both students and parents, ensuring clarity regarding the university’s offerings. 

The University also has its own hospital offering medical assistance to all the international students. Moreover, students also gain great clinical exposure as well making them ready for the upcoming challenges in the medical realm. 

“Furthermore, we organize Cultural Days annually and celebrate Indian festivals with great enthusiasm, fostering a sense of home among our students. In collaboration with Rus Education, we implement a variety of cultural activities designed to develop students’ personalities in a holistic manner. Additionally, we host an Open International Cricket Tournament, further enriching the student experience,” he elaborated.

This event marked a significant opportunity for parents to engage directly with the Dean and gain a deeper understanding of the academic environment and opportunities available at Orenburg State Medical University.
