Rus Education Conducts First Edition of Sobraniye 2022

In collaboration, Rus Education and Russian House in New Delhi, have successfully conducted the pre-departure ceremony, Sobraniye, for the students joining the top medical universities of Russia, on 4th September 2022, Sunday

Sobraniye is a pre-departure ceremonial gathering of students who are beginning their journey to become successful doctor.

This would be the first batch of students that would soon be boarding their flights to Russia to fulfil their dream of becoming a doctor. The event was held within the premises of the Russian House in New Delhi. 

The students were welcomed by Dr Dinesh Singla (Director, Rus Education) and Ms Priya Malhotra (Assistant Director, Rus Education), who took the ceremony forward. 

The event also witnessed the charismatic presence of various chief personalities who took out the time to meet and bless the students. Joining the event were Mr. Oleg Osipov (Director, Russian House in New Delhi), Air Marshal Dr. Pawan Kapoor (Vice-Chairman, Rus Education), Mr Syed I. Rigan (Managing Director, Rus Education) and Ms Elena Barman (Director, Rus Education), who interacted with the students and parents. They assured the parents of their decision to send their beloved children off to another country and urged the students to respect their parents’ sacrifice to help them succeed in their dream of becoming a doctor.

In his address to the students and parents, Mr Oleg Osipov, Director, Russian House in New Delhi, ensured complete support from the Russian House in Delhi, throughout their duration of stay in Russia. He also discussed the close association between Russia and India and their locals. He further went on to ensure that the students in Russia can always find Indian culture within their reach in form of food, culture, cinema and more.

The students and parents also got to interact with each other and formed a bonding that would be lasting for really long times. The event was followed by a fulfilling lunch after which the students, accompanied by their parents left for the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi from the venue to their new destination.
