NTA announces the new date for Karnataka and WB candidates who missed the NEET 2019 exam due to train delay and error in the paper!!

This is to inform that all the students who missed the NEET 2019 examination which was scheduled on 5th May 2019, Sunday due to delayed train and error in question paper language, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced to re-conduct the NEET 2019 Examination for all those affected students in the states of Karnataka and West Bengal. As per the official notice, released on www.nta.ac.in or www.ntaneet.nic.in the new examination date for NEET 2019 for all such affected candidates is 20th May 2019.

In the official notice published by the NTA, the NTA took the decision to re-conduct the NEET 2019 exam again for all these candidates after the due consideration of the mentioned below reasons:

  1. Candidates who were allotted their Examination Centres in Bengaluru and were travelling by 16591-Hampi Express to Bengaluru on 05/05/2019 reached their examination centre at 2:30 PM after the train got delayed by 6 hours.
  2. Candidates scheduled to appear in Centre No. 460906, Surendra Institute of Engineering & Management, Dhukuria, P.O. New Chamta, Siliguri-734009 asked for question paper in Hindi Medium, but could not get the question paper in that language.All the affected candidates are advised to approach the city coordinators of Bengaluru and Siliguri on 10 May 2019, Friday, the latest by 5 PM. Candidates need to submit their complaint sheets and documents to verify that they fall within the two categories listed.
