The National Medical Commission of India has warned all medical students against fake notices, letters, circulars, etc. The news has come from the Office of the Secretary after a ruckus was created from some fake messages being circulated on social media!

The office of the Secretary brought to the notice of all concern that no such meeting was held by the BoG or the Medical Council of India on the 12th of January 2021!

All stakeholders were notified that all-important letters, circulars, and public notices are posted on the National Medical Commission website www.nmc.org.in. Students were intimated that they should stay wary of this bogus news doing the rounds.

The authorities also advised all students to check the website of the NMC for genuine notice, circulars, and letters. People were informed that all such notices are sent to the States/UT Govts., DMEs, VCs, Dean/ Principals of Medical Colleges along with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. Of India.

To reiterate the point, all concerned were alerted to rely upon the genuine letters, circulars, and notices pushed on the NMC website only. The National Medical Commission has also assured everyone of initiating action under the relevant law against all such fake messages in social media!
