Mari State University Signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Symbiosis International University

The first day of the II Indo-Russian Education Summit 2026, held on 28th May 2026 in New Delhi, witnessed a significant milestone in Indo-Russian academic cooperation with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Mari State University (MarSU), Russia, and Symbiosis International University, India.

The MoU shows the shared commitment of both institutions to strengthen educational collaboration and create new opportunities for students, faculty members, and researchers. Moreover, the partnership is expected to promote academic exchange, joint research initiatives, faculty collaboration, and student mobility programs between the two universities.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Mikhail N. Shvetsov, Rector, Mari State University, along with Swati Sahasrabudhe, Head-International Initiatives from Symbiosis International University. The agreement marks an important step towards expanding international academic partnerships and fostering greater cooperation between Indian and Russian higher education institutions.

By combining their academic expertise and institutional strengths, both universities aim to enhance educational excellence, encourage innovation, and provide students with broader global learning opportunities.
