On 6th March (Wednesday), the Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education & Research; has opened up the online window for MBBS entrance exam 2019 registrations.

In India, there are three main medical entrance examinations that are conducted for MBBS admissions. Except for AIIMS & JIPMER, which conducts entrance exams for their respective colleges, the only other National level medical entrance test is NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). The online application process for NEET 2019 has been completed and AIIMS MBBS 2019 is underway. Now comes the time for JIPMER MBBS 2019.
Aspirants of MBBS from JIPMER are advised to visit the official website of the Institute jipmer.edu.in
According to the notification, online applications are closing on April 12, 2019 (Friday) as the exam will be conducted on June 2, 2019 (Sunday). The exam will be Computer-based.
Admissions to JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Karaikal would be done on the basis of this exam. Overall 200 seats are available for MBBS in JIPMER (150 in Puducherry and 50 in Karaikal).
