FMGE December 2021: Important Dates, Application Process, Eligibility & More!

In the latest update for all the foreign medical graduates, the National Board of Examination has announced the exam dates and other important details for the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam for December 2021.

In a notice dated 14th October 2021, NBE has announced the important details. It is to be duly noted that in the first half of this year, after much dismay due to the unprecedented covid situation all across the country, NBEMS had issued a notice setting forth tentative dates for a series of medical postgraduate exams including FMGE.

As per the updated and confirmed details, the FMGE December 2021 will be conducted on 12th December 2021, the application window for which has been opened starting from the date of the notice. The closing date for the application has been finalized as 3rd November 2021 and the result declaration for the exam by 31st December 2021.

The information bulletin for the same exam has already been released for the students of the official website of NBE on 14th October 2021.

The application window will open for the students on the official website of https://nbe.edu.in from 3:00 PM onwards on 14th October 2021.

Please note under section 2.12 of the Information bulletin, “candidates should have qualified the final examination for their Primary Medical Qualification i.e. MBBS or Equivalent degree on/ before 31st October 2021 and must submit proof of passing the same while applying for the FMGE. If a candidate fails to substantiate the claim of having passed the primary medical qualification by the prescribed cut-off date i.e. 31st October 2021 with supportive documents, his/her candidature shall be canceled.”
