The Russian Education Fair (REF) 2023, was held in Mumbai on 22nd July 2023. This was the second edition of the REF and was conducted owing to the huge response to the REF 2023 that was previously held in Mumbai.
Top universities from Russia were present at the REF 2023, second edition. They were South Federal University, Mari State University, Moscow Institute of Architecture (State Academy), Orenburg State Medical University, Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, Moscow State University of Psychology & Education, St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Perm State Medical University.
The fair was graced by the presence of various delegates from Russia. Among them were Ms. ZOBKOVA NATALIA, Senior Lecturer in Biochemistry at Orenburg State Medical University, Ms. GRIGOREVA IANA, Head of the International Department at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University; Ms. BASTRAKOVA NATALIA, Deputy Director for Work with Foreign Students of the Medical Institute at Mari State University; Ms. USUBIAN SHUSHANIK, Acting Head of the Office of International Affairs at Moscow State University of Psychology & Education; Ms. LOGINOVA ANASTASIIA, Senior Teacher at Orenburg State Medical University; and Ms. KARPEEVA IRINA, Translator at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.
The Russian envoy were accompanied by Dr. Vikas Saxena, Dy. Dean at Perm State Medical University, Dr. Ashok Patel, Indian Representative at Orenburg State Medical University, and other members of Rus Education, guiding and assisting the Indian students and parents during the 2nd Russian Education Fair 2023.
The fair was hosted with the Indian medical student in mind. Although the fair was organized for admissions to several other programs including Engineering, Aviation, etc., it was particularly aimed at students aspiring to be doctors. Students and parents attended the fair in large numbers. They received a unique opportunity to directly interact with the representatives of the top universities of Russia. Apart from students getting their doubts and queries resolved by the representatives of the various universities, they also received huge discounts, scholarships and on-spot admissions.
The fair’s resounding success and the overwhelming response from attendees further cemented Russia’s position as a sought-after destination for quality education at affordable costs among Indian Students.
