The students appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2022 can now complete their online registrations and submit their applications till 9:00 PM on May 20. The online payment window for the exam will remain open till 11.50pm.
Earlier, in a similar announcement, NTA had extended the last day of NEET UG applications from May 6 to May 15.
The second extension of the exam date follows the request from the office of the Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). It has been announced that from this year onwards, to study BSc Nursing at AFMC medical colleges, the student would be required to have a NEET Score at hand.
The NTA notification dated 15th May 2022 said that,”In continuation of the Public Notices dated: 01 May 2022 and 05 May 2022, and in view of the request received from the Office of Director General Armed Forces Medical Services, it has been decided to further extend the last date for submission of Application Forms of NEET (UG) – 2022 as per the details given below:

“The female candidates who want to take admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) Course 2022 at the AFMS Institutions are also required to apply for NEET (UG) – 2022 online through the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/,” the notification has further stated.
