Chandigarh, 25 July 2026: The 2nd Edition of the 27th Russian Education Fair (REF) 2026, organised by Rus Education in collaboration with the Russian Centre, witnessed an enthusiastic response in Chandigarh. Held at Novotel Chandigarh Tribune Chowk, the event brought together aspiring medical students, parents, and official delegates from 25+ leading Russian Government Medical Universities under one roof.
Students had the opportunity to interact directly with university representatives and receive personalized guidance on MBBS admissions in Russia. Consequently, the discussions covered important topics such as the admission process, eligibility criteria, NMC guidelines, fee structure, scholarships, hostel facilities, student life, and career opportunities after graduation.
One of the key highlights of the event was the one-on-one counselling sessions, where students received answers to their individual queries and explored universities that best matched their academic goals. Many NEET-qualified students also completed their admission formalities during the event, taking a significant step towards pursuing their medical education in Russia.
The fair created an interactive platform where students could make informed decisions with guidance from official university delegates instead of relying on incomplete or misleading information.
