Independence Day Greetings From The Rector Of Orenburg State Medical University

On the occasion of 15th August, the Rector of Orenburg State Medical University, Prof. Igor Miroschnichenko, wished all the Indian students a very happy Independence Day. In his letter, addressed to the Indian students, he reminisced that it has been 75 years since the first prime minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the tricolour flag from the ramparts of Red Fort, Delhi, after decades of freedom struggles.

Addressing the students, Rector, Prof. Miroschnichenko Igor said, 

“Dear students of the Orenburg State Medical University – citizens of India, please accept congratulations on your national holiday – Independence Day of India.

Today marks exactly 75 years since the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru raised the tricolour flag of independent India over the walls of the Red Fort in Delhi. This day marked a new stage in its history, and today the beauty and grandeur of this beautiful country is admired, and the current position of India on the world stage deserves sincere respect!

I am sincerely glad that you chose our University for higher medical education! 

Let a sincere desire to become doctors and perseverance in achieving your goals, help you confidently follow your chosen path.”

At present, Orenburg State Medical University has over 1200+ Indian students at its campus and seeks to reach out to more aspiring Indian students. The university has knitted a close association with Rus Education to ease the admissions process for the Indian students. Rus Education is the pioneer of assisting the Indian students for their MBBS in top medical universities of Russia for more than 3 decades. This association further enriches the relation between India and Russia in regards to education and helps in building a strong foundation of a happier and healthier world.

The Rector of OrSMU also lauded the country for all its historical achievements and the respectful hold it has across the globe. He thanked the students who chose OrSMU for their medical students and wished the students’ perseverance on their way to fulfil their goal of becoming a successful doctor.
