As per the latest updates by Zahid Maleque, Minister of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh, the MBBS admission test for the upcoming academic year will be held on 9th February 2024. Meanwhile, foreign students can apply to appear in the admission test on January 4 while students from the country can apply from January 11 online. Moreover, the admission test for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery is scheduled to be held on March 8 2024.
The Health Minister has provided additional clarification, stating that the final date for the submission of applications is slated for the 23rd of January 2024. Applicants are advised to remit their application fees by the 24th of January. Furthermore, the allocation of enrollment numbers and the publication of the seating arrangement plan are anticipated to be accessible by the 26th of January 2024. Additionally, the issuance of admit cards is scheduled for the 5th of February 2024. Like the last academic year, the passing criteria were fixed at 40%.
The MBBS admission entrance test is scheduled to accommodate a total of 11,728 seats, comprising 5,380 seats allocated for government medical colleges, 6,348 seats designated for private medical colleges, and 375 seats reserved for army-run institutions.
