18th October, 2026, Orenburg: It turned out to be a memorable moment for the Indian students staying at the Armada Hostel of Orenburg State Medical University as they organised a welcome ceremony for the Indian NCC team visiting Orenburg for a one-week exchange programme at the Orenburg Army School.
A grand welcome was organised by the students for the visiting team, showcasing the spirit of warmth and hospitality and rich Indian traditions.
During their visit, the guests joined the students in the Navratri celebrations and performed Aarti and Garba, while participating in and experiencing Indian culture in Russia.
A special dinner was organised in the evening featuring Indian dishes, especially prepared by the Indian chef of the hostel mess, allowing the guests to relish Indian food and feel at home while staying in Orenburg.
The NCC team was overjoyed by the warm hospitality, vibrant celebrations, delicious food, and a heartfelt welcome.
It became a memorable visit filled with warm hospitality and cultural exchange, bringing India and Russia closer through friendship, unity, and shared traditions.
