The 26th annual Russian Education Fair was held in Delhi on Sunday. It catered to students and parents seeking affordable education abroad, especially in the field of medicine.
Conducted by the Russian House, Firoz Shah Road, in association with Rus Education, the event saw participation from the prestigious government universities of Russia.
Representatives of leading Russian institutions like Perm State Medical University, Orenburg State Medical University, and BB Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University spoke personally to students. The aspiring doctors and engineers were offered counselling related to admissions, courses, facilities, hostel facilities, and life in Russia.
Director of the Russian House, Dr Elena Remizova, stated that they aim to empower Indian students and exchange academic and cultural relations through such events. According to organisers, Russia is still among the top choices for Indian students to pursue MBBS and other professional courses due to global recognition and low cost.
