On May 18th, 2023, as part of their visit, Prof. Blagonravova Anna Sergeevna, the Rector of Perm State Medical University, and Ms. Bocharova Anna Mikhailovna, the Pro-Rector, paid a visit to Santosh Medical College. Accompanying them were Air Marshal (Dr.) Pawan Kapoor, the Vice Chairman of Rus Education, and Dr. Dinesh Singla, the Director of Rus Education. The itinerary began with a visit to the South Indian Temple situated within the college premises, symbolizing the cultural exchange between the institutions. Subsequently, the delegation toured the college’s hospital to evaluate the medical facilities available for the education and training of medical students. Following this, they had the opportunity to engage with distinguished individuals from the college, including Dr. Rajiv Ahluwalia, the Dean of Student Affairs. The meeting between the two institutions culminated in the successful signing of a cooperation agreement, solidifying the commitment to provide educational exchange programs and clinical training for Indian students pursuing MBBS at PSMU.
