A Joyful Welcome for New Students at Orenburg State Medical University

On 21st December 2025, Orenburg State Medical University hosted a memorable Fresher’s Party, warmly welcoming the new batch of students. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and distinguished dignitaries.

The program was graced by the university’s top leadership, including Rector Prof. Igor Vasilevich and Dean Dr. Anton Olegovich Mironchev. Their presence had a significant impact and strengthened the connection between university authorities and students.

Adding further prestige to the occasion were representatives from the Embassy of India, Moscow, including H.E. Mr. Vinay Kumar, Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation, and Ms. Babita, Attaché at the Embassy of India, Moscow. The event was also honored by Prof. Dr. S.K. Washim, Founder and Chairman of Rus Education, who offered inspiring guidance and valuable advice to the students.

Organized under the leadership of Indian Student Representative Dr. Ashok Patel, the program featured vibrant cultural performances by students, which showcased talent and diversity on a global stage. The dignitaries lauded the organizers’ efforts and encouraged students to uphold academic excellence, discipline, and cultural harmony.

The Freshers Party concluded on a joyous and uplifting note. Furthermore, it left the new students feeling welcomed and proud to be part of the OrSMU family.
