Another group of Indian students has set off for Orenburg, Russia, to begin their MBBS studies at Orenburg State Medical University.
For these students, the departure comes after months of admission-related preparations and the excitement of getting ready to study abroad. They also attended Sobraniye 2026 – The Pre-Departure Ceremony, organised by Rus Education in collaboration with the Russian House, New Delhi, where students and parents came together before the big day.
Now, it is time to put those plans into action. With their travel preparations complete, the students have left India and are on their way to the university where they will spend the coming years studying medicine.
Moving to another country for education brings plenty of firsts: the first days away from family, getting used to a new place, meeting classmates and learning to manage everyday life independently. Alongside their medical studies, these experiences will become an important part of student life in Orenburg.
For families, seeing their children leave is a moment they will remember. There is pride in seeing them take this step towards becoming doctors, along with the natural emotions that come with sending them so far from home.
Rus Education wishes all the students a safe journey to Orenburg and all the best for the years ahead. May they settle in well, stay focused on their studies, and make their families proud.
