After their departure from India, another group of Indian students has reached Orenburg State Medical University, Russia, ready to begin their MBBS education.
For the students, arriving in Orenburg is the moment when all the preparations start turning into real experiences. After months of admission formalities, documentation and getting ready to move abroad, they can now look forward to seeing their university, meeting fellow students and settling into a new environment.
Their journey to Russia also included Sobraniye 2026 – The Pre-Departure Ceremony, organised by Rus Education in collaboration with the Russian House, New Delhi. The event brought students and their families together before departure, giving them an opportunity to receive guidance and prepare for the transition to life abroad.
Now that they have reached Orenburg, the students will begin completing the necessary university formalities and getting familiar with their surroundings. From finding their way around campus to meeting classmates and adjusting to everyday life in Russia, there will be plenty to take in during their first few days.
For many students, living away from home will be a new experience. As they settle in, they will gradually become familiar with the academic environment, student community, and local culture while preparing to begin their MBBS programme.
Their safe arrival will also bring relief to families back home, who have supported them throughout the admission process and preparations for studying abroad.
Rus Education wishes all the students the very best as they begin this important phase of their medical education.
