Rus Education proudly welcomed distinguished delegations from leading Russian universities during their visit to India for the Indo-Russian Education Summit 2026. The gathering marked an important occasion in strengthening Indo-Russian educational relations and fostering greater academic collaboration between institutions.
The esteemed delegation included Gnesush Anna – Director of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, and Biotechnology from Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin.
Representing Kalmyk State University were Adyaeva Zayana – Head of International Student Recruitment Office; Houndayi Anselme Nounagnon Harold – Head of the International Cooperation Department; Konieva Oxana – Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professional and Additional Education; Chimidova Aiuna – Teacher of Veterinary Disciplines; and Dr Vijay Vishnoi – Indian Student Representative.
The delegation from Perm State Medical University included Borovykh Inna – Deputy Dean, and Vetoshkina Yulia – Head of the Department.
Also joining the summit were Dr Rohit Chaudhary – Indian Student Representative at Mari State University; Dr Arnab Dey, Representative of Pskov State University; and Mizan, Director of the Centre of International Education.
During the interaction, the delegates engaged in meaningful discussions focused on global education opportunities, academic exchange initiatives, international student support, and future collaborations between Indian and Russian institutions. The visit reflected a shared vision of promoting quality international education and building stronger educational ties between the two nations.
Through such initiatives, Rus Education continues to create valuable platforms connecting Indian students with globally recognised universities and academic leaders. The summit concluded on a positive note, with all institutions looking forward to stronger partnerships, impactful collaborations, and continued educational exchange initiatives in the future.
