Only 1 Day Left To Fill NEET 2019 Application Form; Avoid These Common Mistakes in Application Form

The Application Form for NEET 2019 is available till 30th November 2018. The applicants have only 1 day to complete the whole application process. The Submission of online Application form for NEET 2019 at ntaneet.nic.in till 30th November 2018 (Friday) up to 23:50 Hrs. (IST). However, schedule for successful payment of online fee is till 1st December 2018 (Saturday) up to 23:50 Hrs. (IST). Only those candidates whose application form will be completed and submitted before the deadline will be eligible to download the NEET UG 2019 Admit Card to appear in the examination.

To fill the application form, an applicant has to visit the official website, that is, ntaneet.nic.in and can get himself/herself register by providing the details like Name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Email ID, Mobile Number, etc. After completing this step, the applicant will get registered for NEET 2019. Thereafter, the applicant has to log in and complete the application form.

Since only 1 day is left to apply for NEET 2019, there is no scope to make mistakes in the application form. However, the applicants will be provided with one chance to correct any error in the application form. Online correction of data in the Application Form for NEEt 2019 will start from 14th January (Monday) to 31st January (Thursday) 2019. The date of uploading of Admit Cards on NTA website (www.ntaneet.nic.in) is 15th April 2019. The Date of Examination for NEET (UG) – 2019 will be 5th May 2019 (Sunday).

Common Mistakes to Avoid in NEET (UG)- 2019 Application Form:

  1. Fill Your Details Carefully:- In the online application form of NEET (UG)-2019, NTA has specified certain fields which cannot be edited which are:
    • Gender
    • Category
    • Nationality
    • State of eligibility (for 15% All India Quota)
    • Person with disability
    • Medium of question paper
    • Choices of exam city

    However, in the NEET FAQs published by NTA, it has been mentioned that all the fields in the application form can be edited. Yet, the candidates must enter the correct information to avoid any issue during the examination.

  2. Choose code of eligibility wisely:
  3. There are 7 codes of Eligibility. The applicant must choose the code of eligibility wisely.

    Code 1: An applicant who will be appearing for Class 12 exam in the year 2019 and result is awaited can select this code. As per the eligibility criteria of NEET 2019, it is necessary to pass the qualifying examination to appear for pen and paper based exam.

    Code 2: An applicant who has completed their Class 10+2 in the year 2018 or before and have not pursued any other course may choose Code 2. However, such applicant must have completed their qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) and Mathematics or any elective subjects with English as the core subject.

    Code 3: The applicant who have completed Intermediate or Pre-degree examination in Science from an Indian University/Board or from any other recognized examination authority can select Code 3 in the application. Such student must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (along with practicals) and English as the main subjects.

    Code 4: For those who have pursued pre-professional or pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as the core subjects after the completion of higher secondary education or pre-university examination may choose Code 4. These pre-professional or pre-medical courses should also include the practical tests in these subjects.

    Code 5: Candidates who have completed first year of the three years degree course from a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as the compulsory subjects including the practical tests can choose Code 5 in the application form.

    Code 6: The B.Sc. graduated candidates from an Indian University with not less than two of the subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) and Biotechnology) can choose Code 6.

    Code 7: The applicants who have passed any other examination which will be found equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practicals) and English should choose Code 7.

  4. State of Eligibility for 15% All India Quota seats should be correct:
  5. An applicant must fill his/her state of eligibility and verify it before submitting as the details once submitted cannot be edited.

  6. Fees for NEET application form 2019:
  7. For successful submission of the application form, the given amount of fee must be paid within the specified date and time. The application fee for applicants belonging to general category is Rs. 1400, while those for SC/ST/OBC/Transgender applicants, it is Rs. 750. The last date to pay the application fee is December 1, 2018.

  8. Failure in payment of application fee:
  9. The applicants must wait for a day as there might be a drop in the connectivity from Bank’s server to the NIC server. NIC receives the message from the bank server 2-3 times a day to ensure that the dropped communication can be completed. Once the payment is successfully done, the confirmation page will be generated.
