Charles University in Prague is considered one of the oldest universities established in the world. The University was founded in the year 1348. Charles University is one of the largest and most renowned Universities in the Czech Republic, and according to international ratings, the University is the best-rated Czech University.
At present, the university offers 630 different courses and has 17 faculties and with 3 institutions and 6 other centres of teaching, research, development and other creative activities. The Rectorate is the executive management body responsible for complete University.
Currently, the University has about 50,000 students who are enrolled in more than 300 accredited degree programs. Out of 50,000 students, one-sixth of all students are from the Czech Republic. More than 20,000 students are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree, nearly 25,000 students are enrolled in a Master degree program and about 8,000 students are pursuing their PhD from Charles University
Presently, the university has 7,000 international students coming from different countries
The University is approved and accredited by MCI (Medical Council of India).
