Perm State Agro-Technological University is one of the renowned universities offering higher education solely in the field of agricultural aspects, starting from the initial step of planting growing or livestock processing of products to biotechnologies or software engineering.
The University was established in the year 1918 as a faculty of agriculture and forestry at Perm State University. In the year 1930, it became an independent Ural Agricultural Institute and was awarded the status of the academy in 1995. The university was named after a renowned agro-chemistry scientist – D.N. Pryanishnikov.
At present, there are about 7000 students’ pursuing their Higher Education in the field of Agro-Technology. The University is known to provide world-class education along with affordable and nationally-recognized qualifications to all its local and international students. The University has 9 faculties including the faculty of distance learning.
